Definitely. A traditional hiking pack or backpack will of course provide you with more space (typically) but the SuperSenda can hold a lot, reduce bouncing for faster hiking, and provide easier access to fluids and food.

Possibly and it's definitely worth a shot. If your child is similar in size to a woman who typically fits into an XXS, chances are good it will fit. What a great way to ensure that your child hydrates and fuels appropriately.

It really depends on how much you use it and how you take care of it. Similar to shoes, socks, shorts, etc. the more you use it, the faster it will wear out. As the wear and tear happens consider patching and mending your vest so it will last as long as possible.

1. Most brands that sell hydration vests (Salomon, Nathan, Ultraspire) will have 3 or 4 vests that are practically the same, but the first, basic vest will be $150. The next vest will have a couple more pockets and features and will sell for $165. The next vest will have more space and features and will be $180. This is a generic example, but it's how these companies do it. When you by the SuperSenda you will save HUNDREDS of dollars because it's 3 vests in 1.

2. Most brands that sell hydration vests (Salomon, Nathan, Ultraspire) will have fixed-size sizing, meaning that there will be a fixed size for XXS, XS, S, M, L, XL, and XXL. So what happens if you get a size too small, go for a run, get all the wonderful and gross things on the vest and realize the vest is too small? Well, you'd have to make it work with that vest or buy a new one. Say you lose weight, or you take a break, gain some weight, then come back into the sport. Having a vest that ensures the perfect fit throughout an sizing situation
